How long is the procedure?

The procedure can take up to 2 hours for eyebrows.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

  • Consultation, client will fill out paperwork.

  • Before pictures are taken. Numbing is applied to brow area. (approx 25 mins)
  • Brow mapping, this is where we design a custom brow. Your perfect brows depend on the dimensions of your face. we carefully asses your unique bone structure and the proportions of the face, to create the best eyebrow shape to flatter each client’s face.
  • We customize the right eyebrow shade and the thickness for you by using a wide range of high quality vegan pigments.
  • Tattooing (approx 1-1.5 hours)
  • Pigment is implanted into your skin with a manual hand tool to create your new brow shape. We re-numb through out the procedure.

  • You will be provided with after care kit and instructions to follow.

  • Follow up appointment will be scheduled before you leave

How long does microblading last?

Microbladed eyebrows can last approx 3 months, up to 3 years. This is dependant on your lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure & exfoliation.

Your skin type and cell regeneration cycle also plays a big role in how long your new tattoo will last, the quicker your skin cells regenerate, the faster your tattoo will fade. Please note: lighter colours will fade faster than darker colours.

What does it look like after my healing process is finished?

You will loose approx 20% – 40% of your inital colour after approx 10 days of healing. Brows will appear softer and more natural.

What is the healing process?

Post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 10 days after your procedure.

Make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with clean hands.  Continue to apply the ointment for 10 days.

The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-microblading procedure:

  •     Increased sweating
  •     Practicing sports
  •     Swimming
  •     Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi
  •     Sun tanning or salon tanning
  •     UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading
  •     Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck
  •     Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
  •     Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris
  •     Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds
  •     Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles
  •     Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab

Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area.  During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head or take a bath. Avoid hot steamy showers or baths as the steam may interfere with your scabs and healing.

Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-procedure.  However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.

If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact us immediately, to discuss further instructions.

Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.

Permanent makeup is not recommended for any clients who are or have the following:

  •     pregnant or nursing
  •     diabetic
  •     undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
  •     viral infections and/or diseases
  •     epilepsy

  •     sick (cold, flu, etc.)
  •     had botox in the past 2 months
  •     Accutane in the past year

Please Note: Because of our natural skin regeneration, after recovery period brows will appear lighter then originally tattooed. Often, even with proper aftercare, clients may develop missing spots of pigment or loose original hair strokes. This is completely normal because your skins natural regeneration process is not something your technician can control. This is why a follow up appointment 6 -8 weeks later is required to assure that brows are perfectly symmetrical and desired effect was achieved.
